the staff were super friendly n the hotel was clean and tidy. had a nice dinner in the bar, fish n chips weren't too bad except the batter was kinda soggy. the location is great for getting to glasgow, only a short train ride away. the bed in our room was comfy, even if one side was a little creaky. overall, it was a good stay.
the room was noisy at night with street traffic n the breakfast was a bit undercooked on some parts.

Comfy stay near the city!
We had a cozy night in this place. The bed was massive and super comfy! It’s close to shops and the train to the city center, which was pretty convenient. Only thing was the food, had a burger that was like a rock. Staff were nice though! nice place to crash.

This place suits me perfectly. Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and a cozy lounge are great. Staff once guided me to the best local taxi, which I still remember. I'd definitely recommend it for a refreshing city break.

Had a blast at this spot! The shower was mint, and the breakfast spread for £8.95 was solid with a true Scottish flair. Plus, the train to Glasgow was only £2.90 return—bargain!
The railway outside was a right noise nuisance, making it hard to catch some z's. And while the mattress had its lumps, it was all clean and friendly enough to keep the spirits high.

The room was decent but had its quirks. The bed was split into twins, and one was really lumpy and creaked all night. The front-facing view was noisy with street traffic, so I definitely recommend asking for a back room. I did get used to earplugs after the first night, though. it was fine, but not the best sleep.

We had a lovely family trip, enjoying the comfy beds and excellent service from the staff. The bar area was modern, and we even enjoyed a delicious meal there, which was much better than what we expected. Perfect for our needs!
In my kids’ opinion, a kid-friendly play area would have made our stay even better.

The ambiance here was lovely, highlighted by the charming decor and a well-maintained space, contributing to an overall clean environment. Staff members were exceptionally friendly and provided great assistance with local transit options. the breakfast was both delicious and authentically Scottish, with wonderful Italian coffee that stood out. Unfortunately, access to the train station posed a challenge with many stairs and no visible disabled entrance, which could have made travel easier for some guests.

Perfect spot for a concert!
We had a fab one-night stay in a twin room while catching a gig in Glasgow. The staff were super friendly, and everything was spotless. The location was ace, just a quick walk to the train station. Only bummer was the creaky floors in the halls. Breakfast was top-notch too!
